Managing Director
Anthony, alongside his father John, founded Macahl Animal Health over 16 years ago to support the vet industry and pet owners with a range of innovative, high-quality products. Through extensive market research, product development, and opening new export markets, Anthony is passionate about understanding the needs of both patients and vets across the world and providing first-rate products that support a happier and healthier life for pets.
Blathin Mackle
Co-Founder
Driving forward the family business with her husband Anthony, Blaithin has been instrumental in the development and refinement of the Oralade brand over the years. In addition to developing core product messaging and marketing concepts for our growing product range, Blaithin also has a wealth of product knowledge and experience, lending support to our customer service team members and customer accounts.
Andrew McCague
Accounts and Logistics Manager
Taking on the role of Accounts admin over four years ago, Andrew now oversees all accounts and logistics at Macahl and is an invaluable part of the team. Managing supplier and customer accounts and working with admin from logistics to customer service, Andrew ensures that all storage, transportation, and delivery of goods are managed as effective and efficiently as possible for all customers.
Beth Dillon RVN BSc (Hons)
Head of Sales
Beth Joined the Macahl team in May 2022. Qualifying from the University of Central Lancashire in 2015 to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, Beth has worked in a variety of veterinary clinics from first opinion to emergency and critical care, before moving into sales and business management roles. In her role Beth supports new and existing customers across the globe on their journey with Macahl Animal Health.
Jim Traynor
Factory Manager
Jim has been an important part of the production team at Macahl for several years. With previous experience in a wide range of product manufacturing and preparation, Jim provides excellent support for our entire production team, ensuring the efficient and smooth operations of the factory. Through his keen eye for detail, Jim ensures only the best for our customers.
Aine Donnelly
Business Support
Aine is an integral part of the Macahl team, working closely alongside sales, logistics, marketing and more, to offer administration support. In addition, Aine holds strong product knowledge and experience and is always on hand to offer extensive support and guidance for any technical or product queries our customers may have.
Paola Lenzi
Veterinary Advisor | Business Development Manager - International
Paola joined Mackle in August 2022. As a qualified vet with experience in veterinary practice and pharmaceutical sales in Brazil, she supports our team and customers through the provision of scientifically accurate information, as well as driving forward business support to our Latin American customers. Her love for animals supports our ethos of ensuring animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do.
Magdalena Bobecka
Quality Assurance Technician
Magda is a great team player and has been part of our ever-growing production team for over four years now. As part of her role, she is responsible for ensuring all product specifications are met to the highest standard – with an extremely hardworking and conscientious approach, Magda ensures only the best for our customers.
Holly Cox
Quality Assurance Manager
Holly joined the Macahl Team in December 2022. Since completing a degree in Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Leeds, Holly has worked in a number of food manufacturing environments, gaining great experience in many departments, from auditing to export. Holly will be there to answer any questions regarding the quality or safety of the products, alongside ensuring adherence to the Feed Safety Management System.
